Ice maker and auger motor assembly 4681JA1006D contains the complete ice maker and auger motor contained on a mounting bracket. The ice maker and auger motor assembly mounting bracket has been redesigned. To install the new ice maker and auger motor, also order bracket part number MEG62543401. Remove the old assembly and install bracket MEG62543401 at the top of the door using the original upper screws. Slide the top of the new auger motor assembly into the bracket, then install the lower screws through the auger motor mounting bracket. Safely store any food that could deteriorate while the power is off and unplug the refrigerator when installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.
