Installation / Replacement Instructions:- Turn off the air conditioner and disconnect it from the power source for safety.
- Open the front intake panel and remove the air filters and front frame housing.
- Locate the connection between the fan motor and the blower wheel.
- Loosen the set screw on the side of the blower wheel hub that secures it to the motor shaft.
- Carefully lower the drain pan or shift the evaporator coil assembly (if necessary) to create clearance.
- Slide the old blower wheel off the shaft and install the new 5901A10051A fan in its place.
- Align the wheel properly within the housing, tighten the set screw, and reassemble the unit before testing.
